We have both a Sportster 1200 Custom and an LS650. I can tell you, with assurance, that at 70 mph the Sportster has a great deal more vibration than the Savage. It's part of the Sportster "ride", and you get used to it. To be honest, they both do well at road speed and have about the same range on a tank of gas ... but there is something about the little Suzy that just tickles me ... maybe it's the light weight or the light price ... I don't know, but I find myself choosing it over the Sportster more often than not when I'm out for a solo run.
